Lazise, in the province of Verona, is one of the oldest towns on the shores of Lake Garda, located in the southeastern area of the basin.
From the Hotel Smeraldo, you can walk to the historical center of Lazise in just 6 minutes. The medieval beauty of this historical center is today still protected by its characteristic XIV century crenellated walls. Within the walls, a maze of alleys and quaint streets are crowded with typical delicacies, as well as wine cafés, art galleries, boutiques, and ice cream shops.
At just a short walk from the center, you will find the little harbor, filled with both old fishing boats and modern pleasure crafts. The square that opens up on the pier and the beautiful lake front are home to numerous restaurants, cafés, and lively bars…all to be discovered.
